What a night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve never had a night like this.  I still feel all wound up inside my chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was going to see Spiderman 3 tonight with my friend Joey from work.  I was going to meet up with him at his apartment and go from there.  I pulled out from my house and onto Lindsay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I got into the turning lane and waited for traffic to clear.  Then I saw a car’s lights coming in front of me.  A black car was traveling the middle lane (the turning lane) directly opposite of me.  He was probably going 50 or 60 miles an hour.  There was another car right on the side of him following in traffic.  He didn’t slow down or stop.. I started to get worried.  He crossed into the intersection head on<\/strong> about to hit me dead on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought my life was going to be over… or injured badly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the last minute, I started to turn away from him and he swerved into the lane he should have been in, but not before clipping my car.  He did some mighty good damage to my car.  I couldn’t believe it.  I looked down the street to watch him stop… but he didn’t stop.  He kept going!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I turned my car around, but it was hardly driveable at this point.  I am okay.. no injuries.. I could have been killed but I am 100% fine… just shaken up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I yelled at other people, can you go follow him?  Can you track him down?  And after a cab that was on the side of me went to follow him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I pulled into the LDS parking lot on the corner of the street and called my parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I saw a cop going by and ran to the street waving my arms.  He told me they got a call about the guy and that he was in pursuit of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is how it went: About a mile down the street he crashed his car and went off the road.  He was drunk.  So much so that he got out of his car and tried to run away– but some people we outside and apprehended him until the police arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank God he is okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I saw him handcuffed and put into the cops car.  People came up to me making sure I was alright.  My dad was with me during all this because he drove to pick me up and take me to where the cops were.  I filled out a report.  I found out that he was charged with drunk driving.  The car wasn’t in his name.  The plates were registered to a truck, not the BMW that smashed up against me.  And they don’t know if his insurance is any good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, I have full coverage on my insurance.  I just won’t be driving for a while until it gets fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thought I should update everyone now.. and you can all ask questions later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was this guy Adam who took some pictures of the car.  I asked him to email them to me.  The two darker images I took with my phone of the guy getting arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
