So recently I have been somewhat busy. Exams, getting assigned papers and the whole nine yards… whatever that may be.<\/p>\n
I saw Jesus Camp– the movie that I had the clips about not too long ago. It really wasn’t what I thought it would be. Yes, they did some things that make me uneasy, but I am in Portland.. watching a documentary about Jesus Camp and people are obnoxious about the movie. They were yelling things out- about Bush, making fun of the people with faith.<\/p>\n
It wasn’t what everyone says it is. The producers have a spin on it. What kind of a spin? One to make Christians look worse than they are. We aren’t angels, and we never will be. We have flaws and mistakes like anyone else on this earth. The language used in the movie is one that a Christian would understand. We are in a spiritual war, we need to be fighting in it and not sitting down, be active for Christ.<\/p>\n
Things like that were said… most people took and take the wrong way. The woman in the movie talks about how those who are Muslim are extraordinary in faith, willing to give their lives. She says we need to be that way. I have said the same thing before. The woman isn’t calling for radicals… she is calling for people who are in their faith so much that they would give anything for it.<\/p>\n
As I said, some things did make me cringe. They had a poster of George W. Bush and prayed … seemingly to it. I think they were praying to God about Bush, so that he would be a leader that God would want. We have teams such as the Presidential Prayer Team — that has thousands upon thousands of people praying for our President.<\/p>\n
Spin… it is a fickle thing.<\/p>\n
Regardless of what you think of my personal review or someone else.. the common agreement has been that this movie is worth seeing. I want to see it again, but I am going to wait until it comes out on video before I spend any more money that I don’t have.<\/p>\n

I have 21 sentences to translate from Greek, and do tons more to the sentence once it is translated. I have two or three different projects that need to get underway. I need to read the Bible for another class, and study for an exam coming up. I also am borrowing a book for a project that I need to start reading. There is also another exam I must study for…<\/p>\n
