First – please realize that I do my dead level best not to talk trash about people. Other than my parents. However I am falable. I am human and I sin. I don’t have any funky scripture to quote back. I just have common curtosey.<\/p>\n
I had someone in my home for 2 months. They were only supposed to stay for 2 weeks. He stayed for 2 months and did not contribute anything to the household. He got free rent for two months. He got free utilities for two months. The only thing that i asked him to do was to do the dishes, lock the doors, and to pull the shower curtain closed all the way – after usage. He did not help dust, or vaccum, or mop. I had a maid service that would come in and do that. Alas – no help. But apparently I was such an evil roommate. I asked him what I had done wrong – and he would not tell me. So now – I have no way of knowing what it was that I had done wrong. I went into the hospital – and I did not even get a call from the person who was staying in my home for free – not even a getwell call. I did not expect a visit – I knew that he was working 2 jobs. I did not expect a present – I knew that he was saving up for college tuition. But not even a call. He would not even return my calls. I know that he received them – because I started cc’ing his mom’s # to all the text and voicemails. This way – she would let him know that I had been trying to contact him. I felt used and abused. <\/p>\n
Now – out of humanity and sinning -I left a crude message on his xanga: “Yeah – being blocked really sucks doesn’t it. You are welcome for the 2 months of free rent and the month of free food. I am sorry I wasn’t that great of a friend to you. I called you and paged you and sent voicemails to you – with no response. I even apologized for anything wrong i did – some christian you are…maybe it’s a good thing you didn’t get to go to the college in UK – you wouldn’t have won anyone over to Christ anyways”.<\/p>\n
I doubt it will be there for very long – he has a way of deleting comments that don’t suit him. Of course he doesn’t remember that in January – when his host kicked him out of his house – who was the one who took him in? Me. And then he came back this summer – who did he stay with – me. If he only stayed with me for 2 weeks – like he promised – and sought out another host family – I am pretty sure we would still be friends. However, he never even said thankyou for the roof over his head – or thankyou for the food. I wasn’t looking for a payback – I was just simply asking for a thankyou. When someone stays at another’s house for free -they say thankyou! <\/p>\n
I admit – I even called his momma – but no good came of it. Just like any good parent – she supported him and did not even listen to my complaints. But please be aware – he sucks as a person. If you do not check in with him and let him know what’s going on in your life – then you don’t want to be friends with him. Nevermind the fact that I had a life before he came to live with me – working at CCC, working at UOP, working at Younglife, going to school. I could go on – but I digress – and many of you might say “boy is Lori really way out of line” but that is your own thought – if you chose not to hang out with me after this blog – then maybe you weren’t really my friend to begin with.<\/p>\n

Seriously? You have some problems.. well more than some. It is hard to imagine that I spent about 2 months with in your house, that’s right– lets make it public… the way you want it to be.. You really want to go here? You really want me to bring it out? No you don’t. It will leave you ashamed, probably more confused and frustrated than you claim to be.<\/p>\n
If I really knew it was supposed to be for two weeks… then I would have been gone.<\/p>\n
I cleaned the apartment, constantly.. and constantly you made it a mess, you made it a Pigsty.<\/p>\n
I also paid for all of my food, another reason that I was constantly low in money, when you knew I was getting paid min. wage ($5.15\/hr) from the church.<\/p>\n
Thank you for leaving the house for a week on end and not letting me know by phone or text if you are okay. Thank you for the lies to my face, saying that you’ve called and texted me. Thank you revealing your true self so that I am fully aware.<\/p>\n
Who was there for me in Dec\/Jan? You, and can you wear two faces? You did, you proved that to me many times this summer.<\/p>\n
Maybe it’s me? Lol, I’m sorry.. if I did a roommates laundry.. I am pretty sure they wouldn’t condescendingly talk down to me and tell me to never touch their things again. I am sure that if I left a dish or two in the sink (so I could do a full load in the dishwasher) that I wouldn’t be lectured to clean the dishes after every single dish is dirty.<\/p>\n
I am sure of it. I’ve kept in contact with many people, and many are aware of the very odd way you demand these things yet can’t even keep a clean apartment yourself.<\/p>\n
Or the roaches that roam…<\/p>\n
Don’t call me out, especially not on this.<\/p>\n
Lori Lori, to think that I would call you to infer that we are friends. When in fact– this summer has proved otherwise.<\/p>\n
Please don’t contact me anymore… that’s why you aren’t in my phone book, aren’t in my address book, blocked from xanga, and myspace.<\/p>\n

The funniest thing looking back on all of this…the whole ordeal was that at the beginning of the summer, Lori said she wanted to be a ‘blessing’ to me, (after she heard a church sermon) she called me and said how she would get things I wanted, blah blah blah help me in any way.<\/p>\n
