Hey

Updated : www.jshox.com ; www.jshox.com/music.html

Can you believe I only updated my music site one other time the whole month of February?

More pictures, with the phone and my camera. Before that..

Saturday was the Winter Formal. No pictures from that- at least not yet. I enjoyed myself, but looking back I’ll say – dinner was pretty much boring. The best part was bowling. I beat everyone the first game, and we didn’t get to finish a second game… but I still enjoyed myself.

Sunday I slept in… it was nice 🙂 Hung out Sunday night with Jay and Co.

Monday – School.. (same ol’ thing). Jay ate at home with me and then we hung out with Billie Jo later on.

Tuesday – I stayed home today because I was going to be late for chapel anyway. So I didn’t go to voices- I think its good because I haven’t felt so great the past 2 or 3 days. Not sure why…

Picture time.

""

Sunday evening we went to the ballet. It wasn’t all that exciting.. I admit -I was expecting more, something with more storyline.. but alas it was an experience. The performers are in shape, and I guess if you are a girl who likes this stuff- or someone rich I would expect to see you here. Otherwise… well .. I don’t think I would go back if it were free. You gotta go the first time (yes it was free, part of the class) to get the experience. I would have taken pictures of them dancing but they said they didn’t want anyone taking pictures and besides it woulda been really dark.

""

Yep – you guessed it, I took a picture of my hand.

""

Cept… not. That’s the house key I was holding.. notice how part of it is.. well missing?

It shall be found!

""

See that? The key broke off in the door. Sometimes it’s hard to open, so as I came in at about 2am last night I tried to open it, but it wouldn’t budge. So I pressed and tried to get my key out. It gobbled it up! I was like.. ‘heck no’ so I forced my key out cept I didn’t – instead I broke it. I didn’t want to wake anyone.. so for an hour I was outside trying to find a way inside my house. I came up with….

Nothin.

About 3am I called my parents and they let me in. Long night eh?

I felt like crashing.

""

Yeah kinda like that.

""

I didn’t quite sleep that well. I think I would have woken up if someone flashed something bright in front of my eyes… but hey I tried

""

Gotta save the best for last.. and I must say I like this picture the best. He was so tired that night – kinda cute isn’t he?

Thought of the day: Do you ever feel like the rich man in the bible who looked past the poor person? Coming to a stoplight with homeless standing asking for anything– what do we do? Are we looking the other way? Dogs licking his scabs, yet as the story in the bible unfolds.. he didn’t help him. Are we much help to those around us? Let us seek not so much to help ourselves.. but others, yes? That way the goodness of God can shine more abundantly through us.

“When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered, I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you. Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:21-26

Pray Hard, God Bless
