So I’ve been really bad at updating my xanga recently…<\/p>\n
I think its because I have been rather busy with school work- and if not doing school work I’m hanging out with friends, or I am typically always doing something.<\/p>\n
It’s nice to reflect sometimes and just breathe… and that’s what I did tonight… partly at least.<\/p>\n
Tonight I talked to Micah during a basketball game, its been a while since I talked to her so it was good. I hung out with just Jay and Billie Jo towards the end of the night, and we went to a place where you can see downtown and the surrounding lights. It was nice… I just stared off into space, thinking how I needed to do it more often. Not just stare into space but to rest.<\/p>\n
I’m gunna ramble because I’m good at that.. and its my journal so its my right.<\/p>\n
I did what? I have been typing papers, doing research and preparing presentations. Fun stuff.. but let me ask you<\/p>\n
Do you ever get the feeling where you are bouncing off life?<\/p>\n
Instead of life bouncing off you – you are the shifter, you are the one who is changing due to the course of life. Like everything gets thrown at you, and all you have time to do is react.<\/p>\n
I guess that is kind of how I have been feeling lately. I think sometimes its good to happen- not all the time, but in the times that it happens I think there is room for spiritual growth.<\/p>\n
And so I prepare myself..<\/p>\n
Winter formal is coming up, Jay is going with Sarah, I’m going with Billie Jo – it should prove to be a fun evening.<\/p>\n
My lips are getting chapped…. and speaking of winter formal… it’s been cold here lately… I mean like 24 degrees with a wind chill of 15 degrees. That’s pretty cold. No rain, and if it were it would be snow – but its been dry for a while.<\/p>\n
Writing – it’s what I felt like I should be doing. Not writing a journal entry– I mean poetry. The stuff that gets my juices flowing. I can’t find the time to do it- I have all of these ideas I want to express but I lose the chance when I don’t find the time for it. Then I sit back and try to remember what I had and I come up empty handed.<\/p>\n
This Sunday I am going to an Oregon Symphony. It should be fun, I’ve always liked classical music and because its something to do with my class I get in for free. Even better<\/p>\n
There is still a lot of stuff I have to get finalized for this summer, and then I have to figure out, when everything will be taking place. Lots to do…<\/p>\n
I’ve started a trend in my bible. I took a pen to it, and I marked it all up. I never use to do the whole bible marking, or hi lighting but I think it really has its advantages. Random I know, oh well \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I would type more, but its late and I still need to sleep before the night is over.<\/p>\n
