So I think its time for an update..<\/p>\n
What to put what to put, so much to say.. so little tolerance to type things out.<\/p>\n
YANKEES play tonight. Its wonderful. Today in chapel they had a news paper clipping on a PowerPoint project of the Yankees winning the Division. I smiled big.<\/p>\n
The news of the school is that I will either be going to Harding or Abilene. One is in Texas and the other in Arkansas. I don’t know what school yet, I am going to start that process in the coming weeks. I am not changing school until next year, (at the end of this school year) because we determined it would be too stressful and too much giving the time I have.<\/p>\n
This past weekend I have been going through initiations to be a part of Tri Phi (a group on campus) and on some nights I didn’t get to sleep until 5 or 6 am. It was cold. It was annoying.. it was bothersome. It was rainy, it was wet, smelly, dirty, hot, tiring, rushed, outrageous, but it was good. I got a chance to know a good core of guys.<\/p>\n
On Sunday night at around 2 am I was going to do my homework when Deniece messaged me telling me that someone was in a car accident and totaled their vehicle. Everyone that was involved was okay, but they needed to be picked up and brought back to school. So I told her I would go. She informed me my services wouldn’t be needed. About 15 minutes later she calls me and says she is having car problems and asked if I could still go. Of course I told her no.<\/p>\n
I told her yes.. doggone.. I can’t pull one over on anyone can I?<\/p>\n
So the place was like 2 hours and change from the school. We left at like 2:30, got at the place around 4:30 maybe 5ish. It was so nice outside.. the stars – oh my goodness. You can’t really believe the amount of stars that are really outside. Yet we miss so much of it living in any type of city. We picked up the people who got in the accident (they hit a deer) and got back to the school around 7ish.<\/p>\n
I went to my first class at 9, but I was falling asleep during it so I emailed my teachers in the afternoon and told them I wouldn’t come but that I was going to sleep. They didn’t mind at all. Got up at 2, went to my 3oclock class, and was in class until 8:30.<\/p>\n
Had my Tri Phi meeting (Monday night), and I am now officially a Tri Phi. It was cool, they washed our feet and we got bats (its what our thing is…. bats) and we are encouraged to make it personal and do designs… so I’m going to engrave a little Yankee symbol on it \ud83d\ude42 I’m happy about that.<\/p>\n
After that I kinda hung out in my room for the rest of the night, slept in today and just got done with lunch (after I had voices).<\/p>\n
I wait in anticipation for the game tonight.. and in the mean time I need to study and junk.<\/p>\n
