So today I took a stack of yellow post-it notes that were on my desk. Now that I say that.. I feel like Hil with the whole post it count stuff. hah.. anyway I posted one up for each day remaining that I work. Countdown : 13.<\/p>\n

Last night was great. Perfect almost. Just what the doctor ordered. I spend a few hours alone in my room, burning the candles… just relaxing. Listening to some classical music.. and doing a lot .. a lot of prayer. Spending some much needed time with God. It puts ease to my soul, helps me see things better, and is powerful enough to keep me energized the next day. Ah yes, a time for reading, praying, singing – a time to be quiet and a time to speak.<\/p>\n
If you couldn’t tell… I like it. I should do that more often.. but I haven’t been able to. Tina calls me all the time at night.. especially when I’m about to go to bed.. and it takes away from my God time – that has got to stop. Nothing should get between me and my God time. I get cranky, I don’t make good choices.<\/p>\n
Certain people have been wondering and asked me why I picked Cascade. They just don’t want to go back a week or two to read what I’ve put.. so 242 asked me the same thing (while applying for the scholarship so I figured I would share because I had to type out my ideas anyway..<\/p>\n
When picking a school I had many options. I chose Cascade because it makes the most sense. If I were to go to a community college, you can learn to do anything, and you can be influenced by even more. I took an anthropology class at MCC, and these professors would talk before class about everything from God to Science and Religion. You name it and they talked about it. Anything that I am taught I desire to be taught by people who are inspired by God, not disgusted or indifferent. I believe you can have a better focus. With Cascade you are not seen as a student, first you are seen as a fellow believer in Christ, then as a student. The focus of Cascade first and foremost is God and your spiritual journey, not so much meeting a quota. The class sizes are small, and the teacher to student ratio is even smaller, former students call former teachers friends. It is an atmosphere surrounded by the Love for and of God. I believe in these conditions teaching and understand should be greatly influenced…. I hope that helps with understanding why.<\/p>\n
My parents are thinking of moving to Washington this fall. If so.. how will I come back to visit my friends in the winter? They were the ticket home. So.. if that happens we gotta put our minds together and come up with something.<\/p>\n
I haven’t started getting things ready for school yet. I’ll probably wait until.. a week before I go and do things that way. Sometimes if you are too prepared you forget things.. and besides.. that’s no fun anyway.<\/p>\n
At work today… I found out that someone who was hired around the same time as me is putting in their two weeks notice.. and Hoang is checking into another job. That reminds me.. I must tell Meg that we are having job fairs all this week and so on.<\/p>\n
That’s all for me. I got nothin else!<\/p>\n
*update* Its hot outside.<\/p>\n
and yes, Hil.. I checked Houston. They were 88degrees feeling like 96.<\/p>\n
