So these past few days have been interesting…<\/p>\n
Since Sunday I have taken at least 17 Advil liquid gel caps.. plus 3 pulls of vicodin.<\/p>\n
Why why why? because my mouth has been hurting me. Remember back a year ago . actually over a year ago – because me and Sabrina were … an item.. so that was maybe a year and 1\/2 ago..anyway.. the dentist did some kind of malpractice thing and I almost took them to court.. instead they did a few favors for us.. while my mom didn’t have any insurance at the time – and they took a price off the bill that should have been free.<\/p>\n
Anyway.. he didn’t really take care of a tooth that was my most sensitive tooth in my whole mouth. So starting early Saturday into Sunday I had major pain from my left hand side of my mouth, all the way up to my temple. It was causing pain also when I swallowed and whatnot – so I had to go to the dentist because Sunday night the pain was almost unbearable. It reminder me of what it was like before when they had me on doses of valium to keep the pain away.<\/p>\n
I must say.. those times of pain – a toothache.. a headache.. a migraine.. they really make you – appreciate all the time that everyone takes for granted when nothing is wrong.<\/p>\n
Anyway.. I had my mom call the dentist Monday morning at 8am because I was at work, and she got me in that same day – so I went home early from work and went to the dentist to have them tell me what I already knew. I needed a root canal… so they got me in for Tuesday (today). I called into work for today, sitting the root canal work as the reason.<\/p>\n
So I went in today, and it wasn’t that bad. I really didn’t feel any pain (that was really good considering I have had major problems with this side of my mouth.. in particular this tooth being really really sensitive. – example… the last dentist gave me the maximum legal amount of anesthetics to numb the pain and it still hurt.) They were 45 minutes into it when they said it was so infected.. so bad that they had to have me come back in a week – because it was that bad. It kept coming out, the infection – and they needed for the tooth to be dry for the surgery to be successful. So that’s the deal. Fun eh? So I get to either call out for work next Thursday or I get to have someone work for me. Woohoo.<\/p>\n
So I was eating lunch today, and a few time I started chewing on my lip… and my tongue. It didn’t hurt at all. I must say.. I felt semi-sick from the whole process, but it wasn’t that bad. I am now going to be taking Vicodin for the next few days and some antibiotics. Should be fun. Afterwards the dentist said that for the next week it will probably be more inflamed due to the fact that he ‘pissed the tooth off’ with the work that he did.<\/p>\n
So that’s where I’ve been at. I have had my phone off since about Saturday.. so if anyone has been trying to call me.. I haven’t been answering due to the pain I’ve been in.<\/p>\n
On a side note – me and my brother had a blowup last night. Lucky for us he didn’t work or else we would have heard the wrath from his friend and our ‘home life’. It was over something stupid – but after all brothers will be brothers wont they? I don’t think he wants anything to do with me – why do I say that? Because .. well…. he made an agreement with my mom that he wouldn’t kill me in the house. Emphasis on in the house.<\/p>\n
