You know how I’m planning on going to school this August? Yeah. Exciting stuff. You know how I am not so happy about my current job? Yeah<\/p>\n
Well.. today I had my monthly review.. and well I did well. I wasn’t in the top percentage but my manager basically took the time to talk to me about what I can do in the next few weeks. When I had my yearly review they hinted towards a manager job, but never really said anything about it – rather just saying ‘it will come up probably in September or so’ and let me tell you, that would be a perfect out for me. I was going to have my last day be July 30th.<\/p>\n
Anyway.. So we were talking. She wants to have me help some people one on one (and if you remember I like doing that) – also wants me to be in the new training classes for the next few classes.<\/p>\n
Then she told me that there was a manager opening. And she said she ‘encourages’ me to apply. And that if I don’t get it I should ‘reapply a few times’ because it took her a couple times to get to be a manager.<\/p>\n
So who cares about being a manager? who cares about Sears.. blah blah blah you ask me… why? Better pay… heck its salary. Better job- and I don’t have to be on the phones. A future?…. this gives me something huge to look at. I don’t want to be stupid and pass up something that people off the street are required college degree\/classes for.<\/p>\n
So what should I do? Feedback.. would help. I am going to have to pray about this..<\/p>\n
She told me she would have me do some shadowing of a manager by next week (originally late August) – so what?! argh. I don’t know what to do.<\/p>\n
Last week in church it was about what? Gods Will. This quote rings true : “When Gods Specific will is at Large, it is Obvious.”<\/p>\n
Oh and a side note.. about my brother and him possibly being a believer.. no more. At least not for the time being. He thinks I am wasting my life.. he doesn’t want any part of it anymore.<\/p>\n
