So how’s it going? Tonight I’m going to a baseball game… to root for the Giants, (they’re playing AZ for those of you who aren’t good at the real obvious stuff). So yah.. that should be fun. I’m going with my brother – he got the tickets free.<\/p>\n
So last night I didn’t get much sleep, but I wasn’t tired at work.. so I find it to be a good thing.<\/p>\n
On the work front… We got papers in today about a shift-bid. So looks like pretty soon .. well.. another month or so.. I’ll be changing my working times.. once again. I think they heard me when I said a change up could be good. Ah well.. gotta keep quiet next time.<\/p>\n
Its not bad. Its not fun, but hey.. at least I have a job right? God has blessed me with a job and surrounded me with some really good people. I can’t really complain much… <\/p>\n
Yankees are playing right now.. 0 to 0. Com’on Yanks!<\/p>\n
My fingers fumble over pages, but alas I have no words of wisdom for the ages. Sorry kids, not today at least.<\/p>\n
I was really annoyed at work today just for the fact that my ‘talk’ time has been high. But so has my avoids and resolves (that’s a good thing), but they don’t seem to see that one offsets the other. So I just rushed through most of my calls this afternoon to lower that ‘talk’ time. Hm. yeah.<\/p>\n
I didn’t go driving around anyone’s house…. I didn’t have anything exciting happen to me.. I wasn’t hit by a sudden inspiration.<\/p>\n
Life has been life.. trying to make the best of it for the time being.. and not really about much.. except work. That’s the only thing that can make me a tad bitter at times… but that’s normal. I don’t expect the norm. of myself tho… actually anything but ….for the most part.<\/p>\n
“Lift me up above it all.. I’m feelin broken and alone…” Building 429.. no I’m not saying I feel broken and alone, so don’t get all bent outa shape… but that was the current song.. so you read it. So yeah.. Take some of that!<\/p>\n
So I was talking the other day, about how.. I try to not.. seek after what the world seeks for.. I try to seek for a change of heart, but I was listening to this song from Paul Coleman .. called Last night in America.. and in the song it says <\/p>\n
“I’m prayin for Gods Will… but I’m secretly wanting.. Riches and Blessings to pour in my hands.. is this my last night in America…?” That caught it.. isnt that how it is? As much as sometimes we try to do what is asked, we still have certain desires that our skin pushes us towards. I think so at least.<\/p>\n
