New background.<\/p>\n
Finally got the MLB package.. meaning now I can watch all the Yankees games. Woohoo.<\/p>\n
So today… kinda dragged. It wasn’t that fun… but I thought today would. The two days that drag the most are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. But of course..<\/p>\n
I don’t have anything neat or fun to say today.<\/p>\n
Faaantastic.<\/p>\n
So most of my interesting things comes from conversations. Oh yeah.. that reminds me.. they finally picked a new Pope.<\/p>\n
I had a conversation the other day and it went a little something like this ” (speaking of school) <\/p>\n
Why did you go? Well.. being out of school made me feel like a loser who was doing nothing with his life. But you know what? If I decided to stay at Sears and work here the rest of my life.. there wouldn’t be a problem with that. <\/p>\n
Two big issues I have been dealing with. One – becoming of something – but not for me (will come back to that) and Two – living a life of purpose. <\/p>\n
One – To Become something and someone. What I mean.. when I say becoming of something.. I mean… well obviously.. nobody wants to have a pointless life and a meaning less job.. and everyone lives for themself… but who wants that? … but you see that’s the beauty where number Two gets tied in. <\/p>\n
Living a life of purpose. If I am living to the best of my ability … to show Gods grace in my life.. and letting him guide me through everything then I should be good to go. If I depend on him, not on the world… and living for him, I’m good.. nothing else should matter. <\/p>\n
It’s the struggle with today’s views of what ‘success’ means. The American world is all about making lots of money, getting a big house and having everything New. I just want to live for Jesus, nothing more. As far as making the money and stuff, well you can make little money and be on a strapped income… Loving the Grace of God in your life, you will appreciate life and small things more than you would if you made the big bucks. Not to say that I wouldn’t want to make the big bucks, who wouldn’t? But its not a pass fail point for me. You don’t need money to equal happiness. So these are all things I’ve struggled with, and grown a lot with. <\/p>\n
You live up to great values and work towards God rather than money, not worshiping the world, but being a little ahead of the game… having focus on something Bigger. <\/p>\n
So how’s that for a comment or two? Maybe? <\/p>\n
