Seven years. That is how long it’s been since my last post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SEVEN YEARS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My last post was on July 5th, 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Has it really been that long? I feel like I’m a different person in many ways. I had previously only been posting every once in a while, due to my not wanting to really publicly talk about my kiddo. Yeah, and all of that was mainly due to my brother lurking around and reading about my life without caring to have a relationship with me. I felt like in that scenario what right does he have to learn about my life? So I kept a lot of things on the DL and posted infrequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is way too much to unpack when thinking about what has gone on in seven years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
High level:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bought and sold our first house.
We had a second baby (Elijah)
MAGA
Saw Donald Trump become president.
Was displaced from my job and moved to Oregon for a new role.
Visited the United Kingdom.
I got another role in Portland.
Bought a house in the Portland area.
COVID-19
Black Lives Matter
We had a third baby (Luca) – during the pandemic.
Saw Joe Biden become president.
Got a puppy (Einstein)
Roe v Wade was overturned
and sadly we continue to see an onslaught of senseless mass shootings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will write a summary\/post to make up for the time and separate them out, bringing us up to 2022. I’ll go back and add them in the correct chronological order and note when I published each one. This may take a little to do as I’ll have to dig and look at photos to remember and recant what has taken place over this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
