Hey<\/p>\n

This title seems to imply something positive?<\/p>\n

Perhaps. \u00a0The truth is: I am getting rather discouraged by this non-job finding atmosphere. \u00a0It really<\/del>\u00a0bothers me beyond belief\u00a0.<\/p>\n

I am starting to resign to the fact that I will be stuck in a shoddy call center type job long term if I am going to get back to working. \u00a0Unfortunately even call center jobs don’t seem to be calling me back on applications.<\/p>\n

What is a person to do? \u00a0I’ve made a marker to\u00a0gauge\u00a0where things are so that if I don’t find something by June I am going to start applying more aggressively at the local retailers. \u00a0Target, \u00a0Walmart, \u00a0JCPenny and the likes. \u00a0Not anything I want to do.. \u00a0but at this point I really need work for my own mental health. \u00a0I’ve\u00a0briefly\u00a0been applying to those type of jobs in the past months (Ross, retail banks etc) but have gotten no feedback. \u00a0It is VERY depressing not being able to find work and watching what was a normal bank account sink down into the 0.00 levels. \u00a0Thankfully my bank doesn’t have ANY minimums or fees. \u00a0(It’s Ally Bank<\/a>, the best bank I’ve ever had.) \u00a0I’m not\u00a0necessarily\u00a0giving up on life per-say. \u00a0Just giving up on finding a job that I would actually like to have or work at. \u00a0Why keep looking for something that simply isn’t there? \u00a0I’ve all but given up on the idea and am trying to move forward (mentally) from that point. \u00a0I am forcing myself to think this way. \u00a0It has been pretty bad though- I’ve never felt so deeply that I am in a rut that I can’t get out or climb out of than I have recently. \u00a0All I get is silence<\/a> when I pray. \u00a0It reminds me of a song that is really one of my favorites<\/a>. \u00a0Not always for the happiest of reasons. \u00a0That struggle. \u00a0That faith. \u00a0That pain. \u00a0Ugh.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I didn’t want this post to be a complete downer. \u00a0Picking up the tone a little bit I will happily report that we have had some rain as of late. \u00a0It was nice. \u00a0In fact – yesterday there was a chance of snow (it didn’t snow) but it was cold enough for it. \u00a0Just no precipitation was left.<\/p>\n

Just a photo a took at a stop light \u00a0yesterday- I liked the look of the focus on the raindrops instead of the backdrop.<\/p>\n

OH! \u00a0Last thing. \u00a0A video I’ve really liked lately.. it has got my feet moving, my head a bobbin.. haha its something that makes me want to get pumped up. \u00a0FF5 and Lecrae. \u00a0The song is Cray Button. \u00a0I’ve posted the video below.<\/p>\n
