This time we have visits to friends and to doctors. Let’s dive in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The very same weekend that Sky and Ara arrived back in town, we had made plans to go visit Jacquee up in Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We took a couple of hours to drive north, knowing this would likely be the last time the kids could visit with them for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elijah has a crush on Lilly, and she on him. They already say they are ‘married’ and sit close, flirting. Oh man, we might have some issues with those two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What else?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arabella had a sleepover with Linley and will have another with Alice. Why? I don’t know. She has not been doing anything she should be. Sky keeps letting her go, despite everything else. It is really driving me crazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been packing. Also, announcing that we will be moving to those at church who were not aware of it. A few of those people cried and expressed genuine grief about our moving. It was touching, and honestly, I wasn’t aware the kids had made that kind of impact on others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also took a trip to our coffee shop and tried to enjoy a cup after church, before returning home to do more packing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also learned that we won’t be able to take our level 2 charger, due to the type of wiring that would be left behind. An electrician would need to fix that up, and it could cost $500 or more. That shoots our whole plan to keep it to save money after we move, because the charger now costs close to $500 new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just more frustration- that and the fact that we are way behind schedule with moving. We are literally down to the last day, and we are still packing more than we should.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our kids keep asking us about what our trip across the country will be like. Honestly? I’m not thinking that far ahead. We need to pack and load the moving truck. Everything else falls second to those things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I haven’t even changed the oil in the car yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ezra had an eye appointment yesterday, and, as no surprise, his vision has gotten worse. He may need an eye patch to correct some of the things he has been developing. Every time we are in the car or the house, and he has glasses on, he rips them off and throws them away \u2014 OR, if we are lucky enough to keep them on, he will pop the lens out and place them anywhere he can. The doctors are concerned about finding another specialist when we move… just another thing to add to our ever-growing list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anything else? Arabella had a sleepover with Alice last night. Likely her last one while we are in Oregon. This morning, the moving truck was delivered! Now, if we could just get the last of the house packed… we would be in not-as-bad shape? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is to feeling completely and totally overwhelmed, while feeling sad and sick about moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
